These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of vehicle recovery and roadside assistance services by Lancaster Recovery Services ("we", "us", "our").
1. Services Provided
We provide:
- 24/7 vehicle recovery and transportation
- Roadside assistance (battery jump starts, tyre changes, fuel delivery, lockouts)
- Mobile tyre fitting services
- Accident and emergency recovery
Services are subject to availability and location.
2. Service Requests
By requesting our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate location and vehicle information
- Ensure your vehicle is legally owned or authorised for recovery
- Follow safety instructions given by our operators
3. Response Times
We aim to provide fast response times; however:
- Arrival times are estimates only
- Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or demand
- We are not liable for delays outside our control
4. Pricing & Payment
- Prices are provided at the time of booking or callout
- Additional charges may apply for:
- Distance
- Vehicle type
- Complexity (e.g. off-road recovery, accidents)
- Out-of-hours service
- Payment is made in full before a technician / driver is dispatched
5. Vehicle Handling & Liability
- We will take reasonable care when handling your vehicle
- We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage
- Mechanical or electrical faults
- Losses caused by breakdown circumstances
- Customers must remove valuables before recovery
6. Cancellations
- Cancellation fees may apply if:
- A driver has already been dispatched
- Late cancellation occurs
7. Roadside Repairs
- Roadside assistance is provided where possible
- We do not guarantee that all issues can be fixed on-site
- Vehicles may need to be transported to a garage
8. Mobile Tyre Services
- Tyre availability is subject to stock
- Correct tyre specifications must be provided by the customer
- Incorrect details may result in delays or additional charges
9. Safety & Conduct
We reserve the right to refuse service if:
- The situation is unsafe
- Abuse or threatening behaviour occurs
- Legal or safety concerns arise
10. Insurance & Responsibility
- Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is insured and road legal
- We do not provide insurance cover for vehicle contents
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We do not guarantee recovery or repair success
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
- Liability is limited to the cost of the service provided
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance.
